Ariel Quartet Concert Series

A Four-Part Concert Series Showcasing CCM's String Quartet-in-Residence

Named quartet-in-residence at CCM in 2012, the Ariel Quartet has been praised by the New York Times for its "full-blooded, dynamic playing."

The Quartet brings that excitement back to CCM for its 2017-18 concert season, which features works by Beethoven, Schumann, Mozart, Shostakovich, Bartók, Brahms and more.

Season highlights include collaborations with Donald WeilersteinVivian Hornik Weilerstein and CCM emeritus faculty member Allen Otte. The season also features the regional premiere of a new piece by John Harbison, co-commissioned by the Ariel Quartet with the generous support of Ann and Harry Santen.

Experience for yourself the Quartet that has the entire country buzzing:

“Characterized by its youth, brilliant playing and soulful interpretations, the Ariel Quartet has quickly earned a glowing international reputation.” - The News Leader
“consummate musicianship” - The Wall Street Journal
