Concert Series

Choral. Jazz. Orchestra. Winds.
Percussion. Piano. Preparatory.

From Chopin and Stravinsky to Count Basie and J. S. Bach, CCM's student ensembles, faculty artists and guest performers enchant, inspire and entertain.

As the largest single source of performing arts events in the state - and as Ohio's Center of Excellence in Music and Theatre Arts - CCM presents dozens of major concerts each year.

Our 2016-17 Concert Series opens with a month-long Polish Festival, which features performances by student and faculty artists from throughout the college and includes a world-premiere by accomplished CCM alumnus Piotr Szewczyk. Season highlights also include a Wind Orchestra collaboration with the Oasis Quartet and a unique staged production of J. S. Bach's monumental St. Matthew Passion featuring the CCM Chamber Choir, Cincinnati Children's Choir and Philharmonia along with student and faculty soloists. Annual favorites like Pianopalooza, the Steel Drum Band concert and the CCM Jazz Holiday Extravaganza also return for this season's impressive lineup.

Our ensembles have performed internationally, recorded for major labels and won ASCAP awards for excellence in programming. The critics agree:

“known for its excellence” - CBS News
“a feast for both the eyes and ears” - Music in Cincinnati
“one of the nation's leading conservatories” - New York Times
“You could get lost in the glowing orchestral score, so beautifully led by Mark Gibson and performed by the CCM Concert Orchestra….” - Cincinnati Enquirer

Single tickets and flex ticket packages are on sale now. Purchase six or more tickets and save 20% off regular concert prices.
