Summer Programs

Summer is an ideal time for E-Media seniors (or juniors with division head permission) to do their all-important internships.  This summer, we had students interning in Los Angeles and Daytona Beach, and with numerous area media companies including Possible Worldwide, 6 Dimension Labs, Bluestone Creative and WLWT Hearst-Argyle television. Some of these internships come with stipends the division awards to outstanding students.  The awards recipients are honored at a  reception held each spring.

Each summer E-Media offers a selection of summer classes on campus, providing an opportunity for students to advance in their studies and to get into classes which sometimes fill quickly during the regular academic year. Incoming students are urged to sign up for classes as well as more advanced students who may enroll in upper level classes. Incoming students who want to enroll in summer school should pick up a form from CCM Admissions in 3245 Mary Emery Hall which will enable them to register for classes at the OneStop Center in University Pavillion.

There are also opportunities for non-majors to enroll in some of the E-Media classes.  They should contact the instructor for permission.
