Munich Summer Curriculum

"Electronic Media"

The Munich Summer Curriculum (MSC) application deadline is May 1st, 2013!

Hosted By:

Dear Prospective Student,

You are invited to participate in an exciting and demanding nine-week long Summer Curriculum, exploring "Electronic Media", offered by Munich's Ludwig - Maximilians - University in cooperation with the University of Cincinnati's Electronic Media Division and the Colorado European Union Center of Excellence (CEUCE), at the University of Colorado at Boulder (CUB).

The curriculum, taught in English by German and American professors, combines theory and applied electronic media subject matter with an Internship at a German TV station or media organization.

The MSC program is open to qualified and motivated students with an avid interest in electronic media and in German culture, language and life; with a minimum of sophomore standing. This program is available to students from across the globe, and is designed for students with majors in Journalism, Mass Communication, Radio/Television/Film, Broadcasting, Business, Electronic Media, Digital Design, European Studies, International Affairs, and English.

The program is framed by many extra curricular activities including visits to Berlin and Salzburg, to museums, castles, theatres, and to movies and, my favorite, breathtaking hikes into the magnificent Alps.

You'll be able to earn up to nine semester credits while residing in Munich, the Bavarian capital, a world-class city, known for its extraordinary cultural attractions, its historical sites and its close proximity to the mountains. And I did mention that Munich is the hub of Germany's media industry!

Still interested? Then do continue exploring our site and submit your application to the Munich Summer Curriculum.  The expense for the program amounts to 3,050 Euros, which by today's exchange rate is about $3,900!  That includes tuition and fees, lodging, insurance, public transportation in Munich, extra curricular activities, and much more. What a bargain!!

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
