CCM Keyboard Studies

Elective Piano Study

Piano lessons are available as an elective to both CCM and non-CCM students on a space available basis. If you take piano elective, you are required to play a studio class at the end of the quarter.

Several options are available:
16-PIAN-530-001 Piano Elective for one credit hour

16-PIAN-530-002 Piano Elective for two credit hours

16-PIAN-930-001 Piano Elective (reserved for doctoral level CCM students)

Limited spots are available.  Sign up ASAP to reserve a spot. 


Note:  you must have completed the required CCM courses or Piano for Non-Majors before receiving private lessons.

16-PIAN-501-001 or 002 Piano for Non-majors

Designed for students with no (or less than two years) piano background, taught by Graduate Assistants, Dr. Conda and piano pedagogy students.  Please register as early as possible.

Application Procedure for Piano Elective

Sign up for Section 001 (one credit hour) or Section 002 (two credit hours).  Contact Dr. Conda in order to be put on a waiting list.  Michelle.Conda@uc.edu

Application Procedure for CCM Graduate Students

In order for CCM Graduate Students to take Piano Elective, the Graduate Piano Proficiency must be completed. See Graduate Piano Proficiency for more information.
