Accent12 is a Chamber Music and New Music Festival in which participants have the opportunity to perform alongside internationally recognized artist-faculty. Private instrumental instruction is also offered with select members of the CCM faculty and with members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This seven-day intensive program showcases its participants and faculty in side-by-side public performances of chamber music repertoire. Daily master classes with our artist-faculty provide further performance opportunities. The New Music Division of Accent12 includes a daily composition seminar with our composer in residence and the opportunity for participating composers to have a piece performed during the Festival. Accent12 is open to college, graduate and post-graduate students in composition, stringed instruments and piano.

Accent12 takes place at CCM from June 10 to June 16, 2012, and presents daily master classes and late-afternoon concerts open to the public free of charge. It can be taken for one or two graduate or undergraduate credits.
