Jeff Taylor is a recent graduate of Princeton High School and plans to attend CCM in the fall as an oboe performance major. He is a student of Chris Philpotts, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and has performed in previous CCM Accent Music Festivals in 2003 and 2005 as well as Brevard Summer Music Festival, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and Eastern Kentucky Music Festival. He has performed with many local ensembles including Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, Blue Ash Symphony Youth Orchestra, Cincinnati Woodwind Quintet, West Chester Symphony Orchestra, and Middletown Summer Youth Theater. Musical accomplishments include Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Winner, Blue Ash/Montgomery Concerto Winner, and several selections to OMEA All-State Band/Orchestra, Southwest Ohio Regional Orchestra, and District Honor Band. In addition to oboe, Jeff is an accomplished jazz saxophonist and pianist.
