Brian MoseleyA native Greenville, South Carolina, Brian C. Moseley is a magna cum laude graduate of Furman University where he received a B.M. in music theory and saxophone performance. At Furman, Brian studied music theory and composition with Mark Kilstofte and saxophone with Matt Olson. Moseley is currently a graduate student in music theory at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
Moseley twice presented research at National Conferences for Undergraduate Research and was awarded the prestigious Presser Scholarship, awarded by the Theodore Presser Foundation. He was also invited to perform at rebriangional meetings of the North American Saxophone Alliance and recently presented a paper at the Florida State Music Theory Forum. Since coming to Cincinnati, Moseley has taught freshman and sophomore music theory and aural skills, as well as post-tonal theory for undergraduates.
