Laura Rosky-SantoniLaura Rosky-Santoni received her bachelor of music degree form Rice University and her master's degree in violin performance from the University of Southern California. During her studies, her major teachers included Dr. Edward Shmider, Ruben Gonzalez, Peter McHugh and Cyrus Forough. She has performed at music festivals in Aspen, Spoleto (both in the United States and Italy), Juenesses Musicales (in France and Spain) and the Carcassone Festival. Ms. Rosky-Santoni spent many summers at Tanglewood both in the high school program and as a fellow. She has been a registered Suzuki teacher since 1983 and for a time was director of the Inland Suzuki Music School in Redlands, California. For the past thirteen years, she has taught violin and viola students in her own studio. A resident of Southern California, she maintains a full performance schedule with strong interests in new music and opera.
