Todd Hartman has been the director of CCM Prep Youth Jazz Orchestra since the fall of 2011. The director of Jazz Studies at Lakota East and West high schools, he directs five high school jazz ensembles and oversees high school jazz combos. Jazz ensembles under Hartman's direction have been selected to perform at the Essentially Ellington Competition and Festival, Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival, the University of North Texas Jazz Festival, the Savannah Music Festival Swing Central Competition, and the Ohio Music  Education Association state conference. He has taught as a guest clinician and director at various school districts and for various regional honor jazz ensembles in Ohio and Kentucky. Hartman holds a bachelor of Music from CCM and a masters in Education/Educational Leadership from Miami University.
