Rose Reidmiller

Rose Reidmiller

Rose Reidmiller is a native of Cincinnati and received her Bachelor of Music in performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, graduating summa cum laude. In addition to maintaining a full teaching and performing schedule, she is completing graduate studies at CCM, where she studies with renowned violists Masao Kawasaki and Catharine Carroll. Reidmiller is a recipient of multiple awards, including CCM’s Outstanding Academic Achievement Award (given annually to the top graduate), scholarships from the Clef Music Club and Southern Ohio Music Teachers’ Association, and was a winner in the Geraldine B. Gee International Viola Competition in 2007.

A former Suzuki kid, Reidmiller is a certified Suzuki instructor and member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She teaches Suzuki violin and viola students ages 4 and up, and believes in nurturing and developing the whole child through music. Reidmiller is an active freelance musician and performs extensively with the Midnight Rose Trio, an ensemble specializing in Classical, folk, and Celtic music.
