Your gift

Each year, the CCM Preparatory Department offers financial assistance and scholarships to deserving students. Requests for assistance have increased steadily over the past several years and we would love to help more of our students.  

Our goal is to attract and retain students with scholarships to assist with their artistic studies here at CCM.  To that end we have several scholarship programs:

• The Gino James DiMario Memorial Scholarship is an endowed scholarship created in memory of Gino DiMario, a former CCM Prep piano student. Funds are awarded to students for activities that promote the joy of studying music.  Five students are awarded scholarships each year.
• The Doan Scholarship is awarded to a Cincinnati Junior Strings member each year.
• The Bryll Theatre Arts Scholarship is a new tuition scholarship awarded to a theatre arts student.
• The Corrine Patterson Ballet Scholarship is a new tuition scholarship awarded to a deserving ballet student in memory of former ballet student Corrine Patterson.
• Merit Scholarships  provide partial tuition assistance to talented theatre and dance students. 
• We also are fortunate to award music scholarships through the generosity from the Cincinnati Symphony Club.

If you wish to support any of the above scholarships or our general financial assistance program, please consider making a donation through the CCM Foundation (see below). Our typical Prep student pays approximately $670 a year in tuition.  Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 to help with our scholarships and financial aid and to increase the number of students we can assist.  If every Prep family donated just $5 to our assistance fund, we would reach our goal! 

Another very easy way to contribute is to add a donation to your next invoice. There is a section on the invoice to donate.

Donating online

The CCM Foundation provides an online donation form that allows you to direct funds to UC Prep scholarship programs. When you donate, a receipt will be sent automatically to your e-mail address. To make sure your donation goes to CCM Prep, go to the Additional Information section on the last page of the donor form. In the Comments window, specify whether you would like your gift to go to:

• The Gino James DiMario Memorial Scholarship
• The Doan Scholarship
• The Bryll Theatre Arts Scholarship
• The Corinne Patterson Ballet Scholarship
• CCM Prep general scholarships

An easy way to help: Kroger's shopping points

Kroger grocery customers can earn money for CCM Preparatory by registering your Kroger card through a Kroger program that donates millions to learning institutions. Registering will NOT detract from your personal Kroger points. Follow the following steps:
1. Go to the Kroger Community Rewards web site.
2. Select the green “Enroll” button next to Cincinnati, Ohio
3. If you have already registered your Kroger card online, sign in on the left side of the screen. Otherwise, follow the prompts on the right side to register your card. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to verify that your card has been registered.
4. Once you have signed in or clicked on the link in your confirmation e-mail, select “My Account” and then “Account Settings.”
5. Under the “Community Rewards” tab, search using the organization name “CCM Prep” OR the CCM Prep organization number: "83237.”
6. Save your selection and registration is complete. Thank you for your support of CCM Preparatory.
