Melody Nordmoe

Melody Nordmoe is a native of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College-Conservatory of Music.

She performed as a child with The Junior Kentucky Briarhoppers, traveling across the country for personal appearances as well as on the Midwestern Hayride, a local Channel 5 country-western variety show. She has performed in summer stock, dinner theatre, Hawaii cruise lines.  Her roles include: Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, Nellie Cohan in George M, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, and Anna in The King and I, just to name a few.

She has been teaching Tap and Musical Theatre classes for over 30 years, privately coaching for dance competitions as well as judging, working with local ice skaters and choreographing for High School Musicals and Community Theatre. Her choreography has been seen at industrial shows such as Crest for Kids with Procter & Gamble, and fashions shows for Lazarus Department Stores. She also choreographed for the Pavilion premiere with Donny and Marie Osmond in downtown Cincinnati and the premiere of A Chorus Line: The Movie – with a Cincinnati celebrity chorus line.
