Policies

Tuition is due in full before the beginning of each semester. Students are automatically re-enrolled and billed for spring semester unless we are notified. We accept checks, cash, or credit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover).

To pay current bills on your acccount: Log in to the registration system. For other payment options, please contact CCM Prep Assistant Director Elizabeth Boland at 513-556-9467.

Two-Payment Option: Semester tuition may be split into two payments, and annual tuition may be split into four payments. A $15 fee is added to the second payment. Fall payments are due the first week of classes and the first week of November. Spring payments are due the first week of classes and the first week in March. Other payment plans may be arranged with the assistant director.

Refunds: Students who withdraw from a class within the first two weeks of the semester may receive a 50% tuition refund. A full refund may be given in case of illness or injury (documented by a written statement from a physician), minus the non-refundable registration fee. All refund requests must be made in writing and approved by the director.

Late Fee: A $20 late fee is applied to the student’s account one month after payment is due unless arrangements have been made with the Assistant Director. Students who have outstanding bills may not be eligible to participate in recitals and performances. Late bills over 60 days forfeit any discounts.

Unpaid Bill: Per UC policy, any unpaid bill over 120 days must be turned over to the University of Cincinnati collections agency. To avoid this problem, please contact the CCM Prep assistant director at 513-556-9467 to arrange alternative payment options. Discounts will be removed after 60 days of unpaid balance.

Discounts:

•  UC Discount -- UC faculty, staff, their children and UC students receive a 10% tuition discount. Please verify employment with your UC phone, email and/or address.

•  Hospital Discount -- Clifton area hospital employees receive a 10% tuition discount for family members. Please show your hospital ID to receive this discount.

•  Family Discount -- Additional family members studying at CCM Prep receive a 10% discount on the lower tuition bill(s).

•  Theatre arts discount -- Sign up for the entire year for one of the $190 classes and save $10! (other discounts do apply!)

•  Ensemble Discount -- Students who perform in CYWE, Jr. CYWE, CJS, Jazz Orchestra or Jazz Explosion, and take private lessons, receive a 20% discount on private lessons on the instrument they play in the ensemble.

•   JCC Discount -- The Mayerson Jewish Community Center members whose children take dance classes at the J are eligible for a 10% discount.

•  Dance Credit-- Students enrolled in a musical theatre dance class and a ballet class receive a $75 tuition credit.

•  Tuition Cap -- There is a tuition cap of $850 for unlimited dance. For students enrolled in Musical Theatre Intensive and upper level Ballet and Company, the cap is $1,200 a semester. With this cap, no additional discounts are given. For any questions, please contact the Assistant Director, Elizabeth Boland.

Important: Students may receive only one type of discount. Some special fees are excluded (i.e. drama production fee, and accompanist fees). Please check with the office regarding any discount to which you may be entitled. Your individual area may also have discount policies specific to its programs. Summer camps and workshops have their own discount policies.
