Career Services

CCM's Office of Career Services helps current students and alumni find jobs in both academic and performance arenas. The office provides notices for upcoming auditions, summer programs, competitions, fellowships and scholarships and orchestra vacancies.

The CCM Joblist is available to subscribers via email. Delivery occurs every Friday from August through April, and every other Friday from May through July.

Our office receives announcements on a daily basis directly from employers, many of whom are specifically interested in CCM students and alumni. The Joblist typically includes administrative and teaching positions in higher education, local and national church positions, announcements for local and national orchestra and band auditions, internship announcements, and positions in other related fields.

The Student Artist Program (SAP) is an ongoing community engagement program that offers an opportunity for CCM students to gain performance experiences while providing a valuable service to the Cincinnati community. The program is specifically offered to audiences in retirement communities and senior centers located throughout the area.

Who Can Participate
The program is open to all current CCM performing arts students (instrumentalists and vocalists). In order to be eligible for participation, students must make an appointment with the Placement Services GA for a quick orientation and information about the program.

How the Program Works
A list of available performance dates and times will be posted electronically to the group of students by the SAP office. Performance times will generally be posted monthly and the program runs throughout the year. Students sign up for available dates and times with the SAP GA. The Placement Services Graduate Assistant will schedule the performances and provide confirmation information connecting the student artist to the centers. Specific instructions (driving instructions, contact person, etc.) are included in the confirmation email.

How to Become a Participant
Email ccmplacement@ucmail.uc.edu to make an appointment for your orientation. Our office location is:
