What is Conducting : Orchestral?

All DMA programs consist of performance requirements (lessons, two recitals, one lecture recital), and coursework in the following areas: performance preparation, historical perspective, and a cognate field. Further requirements: comprehensive examinations in music theory, music history, and the major area, and a final scholarly document.
