Classrooms without Boundaries

A commitment to excellence and innovation is embedded in our DNA — we push the boundaries of traditional classroom experiences to turn our performance halls, production studios and design workshops into our laboratories. Students can choose a course of study from 120 possible majors — from music and instrumental performance, to theatre arts and design, to media production and more. Faculty, staff and students collaborate across disciplines to provide training for well-rounded performing and media arts professionals, content creators, educators and researchers.

Outside of the classroom, students have opportunities to perform in CCM ensembles, student-created ensembles and in our theatre arts performances, as well as collaborate on short films, radio plays and other multimedia projects. Students are involved in every step of the process — from planning to performing, both on stage and behind the scenes. Our classrooms expand to our stages and recording studios, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that showcase their artistry for audiences.
