Jennifer Grantham earned her Bachelor of Music from Central Michigan University and her Master of Music (Saxophone Performance) from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. While attending school, Ms. Grantham performed at regional, national and world conferences.
This will be Ms. Grantham’s sixth year with the CCM Preparatory Department. Her students have gone on to study music at CCM, Loyola University, DePaul University, and Baldwin-Wallace. Ms. Grantham also serves as adjunct professor of saxophone at Mount St. Joseph and instructs clarinet, flute and saxophone at several area schools.
In addition to a busy teaching schedule, she performs in the area with diverse groups, such as Souse, Salsa Caliente, Baoku and the Afro-Beat Band, The Eventual Trio, and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. Outside of music and teaching, Ms. Grantham enjoys drawing, reading and bicycling, and recently ran her first 5K with hopes of eventually running a marathon.
