Julie Carroll-Keeney has worked as a teacher and performer for more than 20 years. She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, and some of her favorite credits include Cabaret (Texas), Damn Yankees (Lola, Dance Captain), Peter Pan (Tiger Lily), The Will Rogers Follies (Ensemble), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Alice and Sarah), Hello Dolly (Minnie Faye and Ermengarde), Anything Goes (Purity, Dance Captain), Sugar Babies (Feature and Ensemble), A Little Night Music starring Donna McKechnie (Ensemble), numerous holiday productions, and as a performer at Paramount's Kings Island, Dollywood and various industrial across the United States, most notably traveling between Manhattan and Las Vegas for the Nine West Group for over a decade.
Carroll-Keeney lived in New York for a time and she continues to perfect her craft there with several visits each year. She holds a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Dance from Northern Kentucky University. Teaching credits include both adjunct and full-time positions at Northern Kentucky University and a long time affiliation with the Theatre Arts Division at CCM. Choreography credits include And the World Goes ‘Round, Nunsense, Grease, Pippin, Zombies from the Beyond, A Chorus Line with Mitzi Hamilton, corporate shows for the Nine West Group, Keds and Striderite, and many dance pieces for studios in the tri-state area. She recently, was awarded a ACT Cincinnati's Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Choreography for The Footlighters, Inc. production of The Wedding Singer.
Carroll-Keeney teaches Musical Theatre Dance Level Three and Advanced Musical Theatre Dance.
