Awards and Grants

For 2018 - 19 academic year: Applications will be accepted late September 2018.

One of the most important contributions that the CCMpower Board of Trustees can make to the arts community is to provide awards and grants to CCM students and recent alumni. CCMpower encourages exceptional artistic expression, enhanced education, community involvement in the arts and inspiring career growth.

Generally, these awards and grants are used for costs related to tuition for extra-curricular or summer programs, supplies and equipment for creative innovations, support needed to advance artistic diversity and collaboration. CCM faculty may be involved in the project or initiative for which a scholarship is awarded, but the primary recipient must be a current CCM student or a recent alumni who is a member of CCMpower.

We encourage students and recent alumni to take advantage of the financial support that CCMpower is proud to offer you. You may apply often, but you may receive only one award/grant per category per academic year. If you receive an award, we ask that you agree to attend a CCMpower Board of Trustees meeting or event to share your experiences and inspire others.

Here is the list of awards for current CCM students and recent CCM alumni who are expanding their artistic horizons, therefore enriching all our lives:

  • Innovation Award for current CCM students who are exploring new ideas.
  • Connection Award for current CCM students who are making artistic connections with each other and our broader artistic communities.
  • Inspiration Grant for recent CCM alumni who are on their way to greatness.
