June 6-10, 2022

Are you considering becoming a music major in college? Whether you want to be a performer or teacher, this program can help you develop the skills needed for admission to your dream school. In addition to high quality instrumental and choral ensemble experiences, we will help you prepare to become a music major with seminars in nailing an audition, fundamentals of audition/admission procedures, career exploration in music, theory/musicianship basics and how to land the scholarship you need! New this year, Making of a Music Major will have a band and a choir track.

Making of a Music Major: Band is for students who play Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, French horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba and Percussion.

Making of a Music Major: Choir focuses on choral ensemble singing with break-out classes for theory and musicianship. The camp will also feature workshops for vocal skills such as diction/IPA and preparing for vocal auditions.
