The College of Music of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music merged in August 1955 to become the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. On August 1, 1962 the College-Conservatory of Music became the 14th college at the University of Cincinnati.
CCMpower (formerly known as the Friends of CCM) have been helping students achieve their dreams before the footlights, behind the scenes, or in front of a microphone or camera for over twenty years. Today, the organization has 600 members and an active Board who raise over $300,000 each year for CCM's talented students and faculty.
Many CCM events are FREE to university students, but select performances do require paid admission. Student discounts are available for most performances; prices vary by title. Visit ccmonstage.universitytickets.com for more information.
