FortiCCMo Piano Workshop

The FortiCCMo Piano Immersion Workshop is an intensive piano program that aims to nurture talented high school piano students. Students work with CCM's esteemed faculty, collaborate with their peers in chamber music sessions and perform in concerts and master classes. Students will gain insight into what it means to be a piano major at CCM and a glimpse of life as a professional musician. Residential and commuter students are welcome. Auditions are required. Early bird registration: If you are accepted by audition and register by April 15, 2019, you will be eligible for an adjudicated merit scholarship.

Tuition

Tuition is $550. Tuition is due at registration. Spaces are still available.

Auditions and Registration

Early Bird Registration: If you are accepted by audition and register online at getacceptd.com/ccm by April 15, 2019, you may be eligible for an adjudicated merit scholarship.

Online Audition Only

Online auditions will open Jan. 7, 2019 and close May 15, 2019 at getacceptd.com/ccm. There is a $30 fee to audition online. Select "CCM Preparatory Department" and "FortiCCMo Piano Workshop" from the drop down lists to start your application.

Audition Requirements

All students should prepare the following for their audition

  • One movement from a classical sonata
  • One additional piece from a contrasting style
  • Repertoire list of pieces studied in the past two years. Please indicate piece/s that have been memorized and ready to be performed in a recital.
  • A completed teacher recommendation form

Housing

Any student attending an Immersion program who is age 14 or older may live on campus at the University of Cincinnati. Housing is available for an additional fee. Click here for full housing details. Dorm check-in is Sunday, June 16, 2019 beginning at 2:00 pm. Check-out is Saturday, June 22, 2019 for this one-week camp.
