Performance Opportunities for UC Students

UC students interested in the performing arts can join choral and orchestral ensembles, or can register for arts elective classes to learn a new instrument or skills for the stage!

UC|CCM Choirs

Love to sing? Join one of our choirs! The choirs at UC and CCM are open to all UC students. No experience is necessary, and no auditions are required for certain choirs.

Our choral ensembles include the CCM Chamber Choir, CCM Chorale, CCM Chamber Singers and UC Choruses.

UC Choruses is comprised of three primary ensembles:

  • Alta Petit Treble Chorus,
  • Juncta Juvant Tenor/Bass Chorus and
  • Cabaret Singers

Unlike Alta Petit and Juncta Juvant Choruses, the Cabaret Singers is an auditioned mixed ensemble open only to our members. Throughout the year, our choruses travel on retreats, host a variety of social events and have numerous performances in CCM's venues.

UC Choruses is also known for our Annual Spring Tour. Past tour locations have included Washington, New York City, Chicago and Nashville.

Choirs can be taken for either one or zero credits to accommodate students with full schedules.
